1. Objective:To investigate anatomical basis of saphenous nerve entrapment.

2. Methods The saphenous nerve and its blood vessels were measured in 36 side adult cadaver legs injected with emulsion and 6 side fresh ones with ink.

3. The positional relation between the saphenous nerve(SN)and the long saphenous vein(LSV)was observed in 50 leg specimens of adult cadavers.

4. Stimulation of the right saphenous nerve with strong electric pul-ses was used as noxious stimulus.

14. Objective To investigate the relation of the incision direction to the injury of the infrapatellar branch of the saphenous nerve (IPBSN) during anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction.
