Siege of Sidney Street, the the Siege of Sidney StreetSiege of Sid·ney Street, the /ˌsiːdʒ əv ˈsɪdni striːt/ a gun battle in which two foreign revolutionaries (revolutionary ), who were wanted for the murder of three British policemen, fought against police and soldiers in 1911. The two men were trapped in a house in Sidney Street, in the East End of London, and many shots were fired. The siege ended when the house caught fire and the two men died.
