1. We conclude early discharge after appendicectomy is safe and has socioeconomic benefits .
2. Conclusions:Laparoscopic appendicectomy has the merit of minor wound and fast return to normal, avoids some complication due to open operation.
3. Results:In 1139 patients who accepted laparoscopic appendicectomy successfully, none occurred adhesive bowel obstructions. intrabdominal bleeding and fistula of bowel.
4. No patient had a coexisting medical complaint likely to affect bile acid metabolism nor had any undergone previous bowel surgery other than appendicectomy.
