1. Fulmars, gannets and an occasional storm petrel performed aerobatics in our wake.
2. Gannets and fulmars appeared out of the mist, flew alongside for a few minutes and disappeared again.
3. It is a sheer basalt rock cliff on which thousands of razor bills, guillemots, kittiwakes, shags and fulmars nest.
4. When we looked upwards again, we were amazed to see all three Fulmars still flying but firing emergency landing signals.
5. This applies mainly to the opportunist feeders like gulls, fulmars, skuas and to some extent gannets.
