Ebert, Roger Roger EbertE·bert, Roger /ˈiːbɜːt $ -ərt/ (1942–) a well-known US film critic, who in 1975 won a Pulitzer Prize for film commentary, the first and only time this particular prize has been given. He and another critic, Richard Roeper, presented a show called Ebert and Roeper on US television in which they reviewed new films.
