Ebert, Roger Roger EbertE·bert, Roger /ˈiːbɜːt $ -ərt/ (1942–) a well-known US film critic, who in 1975 won a Pulitzer Prize for film commentary, the first and only time this particular prize has been given. He and another critic, Richard Roeper, presented a show called Ebert and Roeper on US television in which they reviewed new films. He is famous for saying that ‘No good movie is too long and no bad movie is short enough.’ He has not appeared on a television show since 2006 after an illness left him unable to speak.E·bert, RogerSyllable |
