Dublin Dub·lin /ˈdʌblɪn/ the capital of the Republic of Ireland. It is on the east coast, on the River Liffey. Dublin was the home of several famous Irish writers, such as Jonathan swift, George Bernard Shaw, Oscar Wilde, and James Joyce.
