Sky TV Sky TV /ˌskaɪ tiː ˈviː/ (also Sky, BskyB) a television company owned by Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation, which operates several different television channels that broadcast programmes in the UK. For example, there is a news channel as well as several sports and film channels. In order to receive its programmes, you have to pay money to Sky and have a satellite dish on your house.
