1. Within the epidermal cells microtubules connect the desmosomes of the interdigitating regions with cone-like depressions of the outer epidermal plasma membrane.

2. There exist cell junctions (desmosome) between the two spermatids .

3. Histologically they differ from skeletal muscle in having smaller fibres, linked by desmosomes and sometimes containing only one fibril.

4. Free tumour cells infiltrating stroma always lost basal lamina and were shortage of desmosome.

5. Results At the 10th week after constriction, the structure of cadherin, desmosome and gap junction in intercalated discs were destroyed, gap of intercellular space widened.

6. In a case of short limb malformation, the perinodal loops were thinner, there were more desmosome strings between the loops.

7. At three points along the way there are specialized junctions: (1) zonula occludens or tight junctions, (2) zonula adherens or intermediate junction, and (3) desmosome or macula adherens.
