2. The rainstorm area in Jiangxi caused by BILIS matches well with upward current and upper divergence and relates with asymmetry, terrain and instability.

3. Mostly fish, ikan bilis and some 'non-poisonous' seafood such as dried oyster and scallops...

4. The path of BILIS is relation with the location and evolvement of subtropical high.

5. Bilis(0604) is a strong tropical storm that sustained over land for a long time, bringing torrential rain.

6. The results indicate that: rainstorm caused by BILIS appeared in the middle and south Jiangxi, which conforms to similar typhoons in history entering Ganzhou.

7. By means of the conventional observation data and NCEP reanalysis data, the sustained torrential rain event caused by the severe tropical storm Bilis (0604) is investigated.
