(1) The hanging wall of the pterygopalatine space, fora- men rotundum, inferior orbital fissure, pterygoid canal and its relationship with the sphenoidal sinus were dis- played on coronal section.

(2) Objective To study microanatomy of pterygopalatine fossa and to provide microanatomic basis for treating the lesions of the pterygopalatine fossa.

(3) Objective:To provide anatomic data for management of pterygopalatine fossa lesions via endoscopic transnasal approach.

(4) Methods (1)Microanatomic structures of pterygopalatine fossa region were observed and measured in 30 skulls (60 sides) and in 15 adult cadaveric heads (30 sides).

(5) Conclusion : NO in the pterygopalatine and otic ganglia may play an important role in regulating NPY release at the postganglionic fiber ends.

(6) The mass extends into the inferior orbital sinus, superior maxillary sinus, and the pterygopalatine fossa.

(15) Conclusion:Safe scope could be acquired in endoscopic transnasal surgery in pterygopalatine fossa and foramen rotundum could be thought as an important landmark.

(16) Objective: To observe the age changes of the age changes of the expression of nitric oxide synthase in pterygopalatine ganglion , otic ganglion and the fibers innervating the cerebral vessels of rats.

(17) There is a characteristic principle during the development of the NOS positive cells in pterygopalatine , otic ganglion and the fibers innervating the cerebral vessels of rats.

(18) Results: The 3 approaches allowed for different exposure of the pterygopalatine fossa structure.
