Pasternak, Boris Boris PasternakPas·ter·nak, Bor·is /ˈpæstənæk $ -tər-, ˈbɒrɪs $ ˈbɔː-/ (1890–1960) a Russian poet and writer, best known for his novel about the Russian Revolution, Doctor Zhivago, which the Soviet government would not allow to be printed.
